Communicable Disease

CCPHD’s Communicable Disease (CD) division promotes public health through disease surveillance, prevention program, and community education.

The CCPHD CD staff:

Investigates reportable communicable disease cases and outbreaks, such as Tuberculosis and Norovirus
Collect data during ongoing disease surveillance
Provide follow-up including education, testing, prophylaxis, and immunization to CD cases and contacts
Provide CD-related consultation and education
