Tuberculosis (TB) Testing
When can I get a TB test?
TB skin tests are done at the Health Department from 8:00 am - 11:00
am & 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. TB
tests are read no sooner than 48 hours and no later than 72 hours after
the skin test is given. Refer to the table below for testing and reading
dates and locations. No appointment is needed; the cost is $15.00.

How long is the TB test good for?
Your employer or licenser will determine how often you need TB
clearance.
What does a positive TB test mean?
A positive TB test means that someone has been exposed to the TB germ
and follow-up evaluation is needed.
