Food Protection Program

The purpose of this program is to protect public health through the licensing, inspection, regulation, and enforcement of federal, state, and local regulations. This program enhances the principle that “prevention of conditions potentially causing illness” is the best way to protect public health.

Services provided through the Food Protection Program include:

Plan review
Licensing
Foodborne illness investigation
Complaint investigation
Vending machine inspection
Food Service Facility Inspection Reports
Temporary food permit issuance and inspection
Food safety classes
