Inspections/Licensing
The purpose of this program is to provide the administrative base
used to determine which facilities are subject to regulation, require
inspection, and are assessed fees. All food service establishments (not
including Special Transitory Food Units or Temporary Food Services) are
licensed on a yearly basis. Each license year begins on May 1 and ends
April 30. There is no pro-rating of any license fees.
New establishments are licensed at the time of their pre-opening
inspection. All currently licensed facilities are mailed a renewal
application in early March.

Food Service License Application.
Food service
license fees are determined by various factors including the menu
complexity, operating season, and nonprofit status.
