New Business:
Mr. Savage and Mr. Turner inspected the new office
space on the third floor of the Toeller Building. This inspection was
prompted by the Director due to some concerns in the quality of work
performed by the contractors in the process of remodel. Mr. Savage and
Mr. Turner both noted some discrepancies to include: paint drips on the
wall, spackling not blended into freshly painted walls, glue smears,
paint on woodwork, paint not evenly distributed on the walls, and an
overall general lack of attention to detail. After inspection, Mr.
Savage contacted the Administrator to discuss his concerns. The
Administrator assured Mr. Savage that upon completion of a ' punch list, he would follow up on resolving Mr. Savage' s
concerns. Mr. Savage, then, informed both the Administrator and the
Director that the Veterans Affairs Committee would not pay the final
bill until the office spaced passed a second inspection. Mr. Savage
called committee member Todd Kaminski and informed him of the recent
sequence of events.
Meeting adjourned at 3:00 P.M.
