County Seeks to Fill Planning Commission Vacancies

The County is seeking individuals to fill multiple vacancies on the Calhoun County Planning Commission.  The following four stakeholder positions are currently available:

·         environmental interest;

·         governmental municipal interest;

·         transportation and/or communication; and

·         sanitation, environmental health, housing, and/or human services (can be an employee of the County). 

Members are appointed by the County Board of Commissioners for a term of three years.  The County Planning Commission meets monthly on the fourth Monday of each month in Marshall.  If you are interested in applying for an available position, please apply through the County website.  For more information regarding the County Planning Commission please review the Calhoun County Planning Commission Ordinance of 2011.  With further questions, please contact the Calhoun County Planning Department at 269-781-0817 or planning@calhouncountymi.gov
