Enbridge has filed an application for the replacement of their Line 6B pipeline throughout Michigan. In addition to some job creation, they estimate the incremental property tax benefits from the Line 6B Phase 2 Project (2013) to be $3 million starting in 2013/2014 in total for all taxing entities within Calhoun County, increasing to $3.3 million ten years later. More to come later on the time line and any expected disruptions (noise, odor, etc.) for this summer's Line 6b Maintenance and Replacement project within Fredonia Township, Marshall City and Marengo Township.
