Information Services:
Information and Referral—Senior Health and Social Needs, and Volunteer Opportunities
Helps seniors find services and opportunities that are available to them in Calhoun County. Provided by:

Adult Day Care Services:
Adult day care provides activities, social supports and medical monitoring for a senior outside of the home. Low-income seniors are the service priority.

Care Management & In-Home Supportive Services:
Provides an assessment of what is needed to keep a senior in his/her home and arranges for any needed services. Low-income seniors at risk of entering a nursing home are the service priority.

Guardianship Services:
Serves as a probate court appointed "guardian" or "conservtor" to elderly people who need assistance managing their personal and financial affairs.

PRESCRIPTION ASSISTANCE: A variety of services addressing senior prescription needs are funded. They include:

Benefits Counseling (Medicare, Medicaid and other programs)
One-on-one counseling to help determine best long-term prescription and health care alternatives for individuals based on their personal situation.
