Helps seniors find services and opportunities that are available to them in Calhoun County.

Adult Day Care Services:   Adult day care provides activities, social supports and medical monitoring for a senior outside of the home. Low-income seniors are the service priority.

Guardianship ServicesServes as a probate court appointed "guardian" or "conservator" to elderly people who need assistance managing their personal and financial affairs.

Money Management Assistance: Offers complete review of a person’s current financial situation and helps to develop a plan of action to address important needs. This service is available to low-income seniors.

Prescription Assistance: A variety of services addressing senior prescription needs are funded. They include: Benefits Counseling (Medicare, Medicaid and other programs)
One-on-one counseling to help determine best long-term prescription and health care alternatives for individuals based on their personal situation.

Prescription Vouchers:

Prescription Drug Assess Program (PDAP) - Completes and submits appropriate applications to pharmaceutical companies for free medications on behalf of low-income senior.

Senior Fitness and Fun: Provides health education, exercises, health screenings, fall prevention, and ongoing progress monitoring at a variety of county locations.

Transportation: County-wide service to seniors. Rides provided Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. At least a        24-hour notice is required. More notice may be needed to accommodate request. (NO income limits.)
