The Senior Prescription Program is a prescription discount card offered to Calhoun citizens sixty (60) years of age and older who do not have prescription coverage.  There are no income eligibility requirements or enrollment costs for seniors to join this program.  The senior millage pays the enrollment fees and provides additional savings on prescriptions.  In its first year, seniors saved an average of 30% on their prescription costs.

In comparison to census data, we are serving a proportionately higher population in the central and eastern portions of the county, significantly higher in Albion, Albion Township, and Marshall Township.

To enroll in the program, a person must be a Calhoun County resident, sixty (60) years of age or older, and have no other prescription coverage.

There is no income requirement for this program.
