The Calhoun County Land Bank and the City of Battle Creek was awarded $7,719,839 in regards to the Michigan State Housing Development Authority NSP2 consortium application.  The program is expected to revitalize targeted areas that have been devastated by foreclosed and abonded properties.  The program is a multi-year program that will focus on purchasing and acquiring foreclosed upon vacant and abandoned properties for redevelopment via demolition, rehabilitation & land banking for future use.  Please see the attached timeline for the approximate delivery of stabilization within NSP2 Consortium project.
