Case Manager - Community Corrections

GENERAL SUMMARY

Reports to the Community Corrections Manager and responsible for the case supervision of persons released from jail on bond, awaiting trial.  Duties include supervision of clients, referrals for services, participant reporting and maintaining program data.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • At Least 18 years of age.
  • Bachelor Degree or Four years Criminal Justice experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • No Felony Convictions.    
  • US Citizen     
MAJOR WORK CHARACTERISTICS
 
Cognitive Abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively through verbal interaction with the public, inmates and co-workers.
  • Possess basic writing and grammar skills to complete intelligible reports.
  • Possess ability to multi-task .  
  • Exercise independent judgment within legal guidelines.  
WORK SCHEDULE
  • Weekdays. 8AM-5PM.
BENEFITS
 
  • Wage: $15.44 - $18.78
  • Paid Time Off:  Accrues bi-weekly @ 5.44 hours (144 hours annual)
  • Retirement:  Pension - MERS (B4), 401k, 457b.
