Oct. 1 BOC Meeting

The Calhoun County Board of Commissioners will meet at 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 1 via Zoom video conference. The Board of Commissioners will meet electronically as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, pursuant Governor Gretchen Whitmer's Executive Order 2020-129, which allows meetings to be held virtually to minimize in-person gatherings at this time.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
 
FOR MICHIGAN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDING FOR $439,770.86
 
Calhoun County, MI will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 7:00pm via zoom and live YouTube feed for the purpose of affording citizens an opportunity to examine and submit comments on the proposed application for a CDBG grant.
 
Calhoun County, MI proposes to use $439,770.86 of CDBG funds to prevent, prepare for, and respond to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and benefit at least 51% low to moderate income persons.
 
Further information, including a copy of Calhoun County’s community development plan and CDBG application is available for review. To inspect the documents, please contact Calhoun County Administration at 269-781-0966.  Comments may be submitted in writing through Wednesday, September 30, 2020 or made in person at the public hearing.
 
Citizen views and comments on the proposed application are welcome.
