CCPHD offers many programs and services to support families. Research shows that the early years can be some of the most influential. We aim to connect families to the care and support they need to thrive.

Childhood Vision and Hearing
CCPHD screens children in schools and preschools throughout the county.
 
Children's Special Health Care Services (CSHCS)
Provides services for children, and some adults, with special health care costs and needs.
 
Immunizations
Information about vaccines and appointments for all ages.
 
Infant Safe Sleep
Education and resources to connect parents with what they need to create a safe sleep environment for their baby.
 
Lead Testing
Providing all children under 6 and pregnant women free blood-lead level testing to identify and prevent lead poisoning in Calhoun County.
 
Nurse-Family Partnership® (NFP) Home Visiting
Health department staff are available to meet with new and expectant parents at home to connect them to resources and tools to improve health.
 
School Wellness Program
School nursing services in Calhoun County.
 
Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
A federal food and nutrition program for children and pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.
