Below are the most recent community incidence rates in Calhoun County. In this instance, a community is defined as all PCR, laboratory confirmed and all probable COVID-19 cases within the school district’s geographic composition. Any residents residing within the corresponding school districts, are counted. These rates are not specific to solely school-related cases. All school districts below are included based upon their classification as an official geographic region by the U.S. Census Bureau. A PCR is a diagnostic test which detects the virus’s genetic material, and can show if you have an active COVID-19 infection. A probable case is an individual who has received a positive antigen test, or has a known exposure to a laboratory confirmed case and is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.”
